Looking for something to do with the family?

Why not visit the Children's Farm, Cafe and Farm Shop at The Oaks Poultry Farm, Ditchling, BN6 8TN. We have plenty of farm animals to see and hold, including recently born lambs, chicks and ducklings. Plus cows, pigs, donkeys, goats, geese, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, golden pheasant, turkeys and a variety of chicken.

We have a new soft play area, indoor sand pit , play barn with hay bales and ride on tractors. Once you have had fun at the children's farm, then why not enjoy a drink and a piece of homemade cake in our cafe. We are open Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30 to 4pm (3pm on Saturday). The cost is £5 per child, and £3 per adult. We look forward to welcoming you.

Please come and check out our expanded farm shop. We continue to stock a wide range of fresh quality meat  (including chicken, lamb, pork, beef and venison) from our farm, along with free range eggs, potatoes and vegetables. Additionally, we are now selling local cheeses and diary produce (milk, cream, butter & yogurt) along with locally produced flour, pies, chutneys and jams.

Mark Perrett built the farm with his wife, Audrey and three sons, Edward, Neil and James, from an empty field he purchased in 1969 to what you see today.
